Born in 1953 Neil grew up in the West Country, his passion for the motorcycle was sparked at the tender age of 16 when he bought a BSA 175 Bantam in terrible condition to get him to work and back. Neil had never ridden a motorcycle before and had to get it an MOT. He was so embarrassed about the bike and the fact that he’d never ridden a motorcycle he decided to take a six mile detour to avoid driving through the town centre to get to the garage. After his first journey his love for two wheeled motor transport was sealed. Shortly after the Bantam he had a 175 Honda and at the age of 17 he bought a Triumph T120 Bonneville which was later followed by a Norton Commando, the list goes on and the rest as they say is history.
Neil now lives in France surrounded by beautiful countryside and plenty of heaven sent biking roads. Neil has racked a lot of miles up on his own two wheeled travels, no doubt absorbing inspiration from the places he goes and the people he meets. If he is not out riding his bike he can be found painting a picture of one.
